Who can join?
Anyone aged 18 or over with a Student Path Pro account in good standing, a confirmed email address and a complete Buddy Profile. Sign up with Google or email. University verification is optional and only adds a University Verified badge.
I already use SPP. Do I need another account?
No. Choose Continue with SPP and use your existing identity. If your university email differs from your sign-in email, add it through verification on that account.
My institution is not recognised. What should I do?
Do not create extra accounts or use another institution’s details. Your domain must be reviewed and approved before it can be used for direct institutional verification. Existing eligible SPP verification may provide another route.
Who sees my Stories and Plans?
The audience you choose controls visibility. Buddies is the Story default; Close Buddies is a private selected audience. Stories and active Plans last at most 24 hours.
Can I turn off activity and location?
Yes. Both are optional. Review the controls inside Buddy Up, and keep them off if you prefer.
How do I report a problem?
Use the Report control on the relevant item. For unwanted contact, use Block. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
How do I request deletion?
Open Buddy Up account settings to record a deletion request. During staging, execution remains subject to approved retention policy and operational review. A request does not delete your shared SPP identity.
